SIMPLE STEPS
A no-money learning session
- Agree on the variant. Confirm the card deck, ranking, direction of play and how a round ends.
- Deal three cards. In the common format, each player receives three cards face down.
- Take turns. Follow the agreed order. Some variants distinguish players who have seen their cards from those who have not.
- Compare hands. Use the agreed ranking and tie-break rules. If uncertain, pause and consult the rules rather than improvising stakes.
- Stop when agreed. Use a timer and keep the session recreational. No money, borrowing or prizes are necessary to learn the rules.
Common terms
Trail: three cards of one rank. Sequence: consecutive ranks. Color: three cards of one suit. Pair: two matching ranks. “Blind” and “seen” are variant-specific terms about viewing cards.
About strategy claims
Practice can improve recognition of combinations and understanding of the table’s rules. It cannot control shuffled cards. Be cautious of “sure win”, “fixed result” or “risk-free income” claims. This site does not provide predictions, gambling systems or financial advice.
Digital app differences
Apps can use different rankings, interface labels and features. Check in-app rules and privacy information before use. Do not assume that an app using a familiar title is official or safe. Read the Android verification checklist.
